Uptown’s Magers and Quinn Has “What Haunts Us”

“A bounty of the world’s best books assembled by biblioholic booksellers.”

Magers and Quinn in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota has been a fixture since 1994. It’s another one of the local Twin Cities indie bookstores that carries “What Haunts Us,” Loren Niemi’s Midwest Book Award-winning 2019 release with Moonfire Publishing.

Magers and Quinn located at 3038 Hennepin Ave re-opened in June for limited in-store browsing from 12 pm to 7 pm daily. If you’re in the area, stop by and talk to a bookseller to get a copy of “What Haunts Us.” today. You can also order online – visit Magers and Quinn on the web. Their phone lines are open 10am-7pm (612-822-4611), if you want to reach out and speak to a staff member.

Since mid-June, Moonfire Publishing has been donating all publisher’s profits from the sales of Loren’s book to the Black Storytellers Alliance. In 2020 the BSA is celebrating its 46th year of presenting and educating people on the culture of oral storytelling tradition as practiced by African people in the Diaspora.
